Terrence Williams Impresses Doc Rivers
Even before a rash of injuries ended the seasons of trio of Boston Celtics players, Terrence Williams was indeed a player who was on the C’s radar.
The 6-foot-6 wing player who might be in uniform for Boston as early as Tuesday’s game against Denver, worked out for the C’s this past summer.
Celtics coach Doc Rivers had little to say about the workout or Williams, who accepted a 10-day contract with the C’s.
While there are a number of Williams’ traits that might be impressive, Rivers is more pleased with his experience.
“He’s been in the league, that’s what impressed me,” Rivers said. “You can see that.”
