Thorn: Andrew Bynum Situation ‘Bizarre’
(Former general manager and current team consultant Rod) Thorn was asked how far it would set the organization back if (Andrew) Bynum, on the final year of his contract, wasn’t back here next season.
“That’s to be determined,” he said. “Obviously, to have a player of that ilk, a player that can make such a difference at any time and when you don’t have that kind of player, it’s tough. But who knows what’s going to happen when this season’s over.
“It’s a little bizarre, there’s no doubt about it. He’s had problems, but he’s worked really hard as you can see.”
