Timberwolves’ Beasley, Barea staying home

A pair of Minnesota Timberwolves will be staying home while the rest of the team travels for games in New Orleans and Atlanta this weekend.Forward Michael Beasley has been sidelined since Jan. 6 with a sprained right foot. He was still in a walking cast as of Wednesday and the foot remains swollen, forcing him to miss the last three games.Beasley, 23, is averaging 12.9 points and seven rebounds in seven games.Point guard J.J. Barea is dealing with a sprained ankle after already missing four games with a strained left hamstring.Barea, 27, averages 11.4 points through five games.
