Timberwolves F Love ruled out with concussion

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love was ruled out of Thursday’s game against the Los Angeles Clippers due to a mild concussion.Love was hurt in Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets when he was inadvertently elbowed in the head by Denver’s JaVale McGee.He also suffered a neck strain and was hospitalized overnight in Denver. Love was cleared to return to Minneapolis on Thursday and he is expected to be re-evaluated for the next few days.With only six games left in the season, Love may have played his last game. He is averaging 26.0 points and 13.3 rebounds.Rookie Derrick Williams started in Love’s place against the Clippers.
