Timberwolves Love wins 3-Point Contest

Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love defeated Oklahoma City forward Kevin Durant 17-14 in a tiebreaker to win the 2012 Foot Locker 3-Point Shootout during the 2012 NBA All-Star festivities in Orlando, Florida.Love and Durant tied with 16 points apiece in the final to force a tiebreaker. Love shot first and posted a score of 17 in the playoff to put the pressure on Durant. The Thunder forward struggled hitting only two of five 3-point attempts on the second and fourth racks en route to posting a score of 14.Love survived a first-round tiebreaker with Miami’s Mario Chalmers to advance earlier in the competition.
