Timberwolves Waive Injured Josh Howard

The Minnesota Timberwolves announced they have waived forward Josh Howard, who has a torn ACL and needs season-ending surgery. Howard sustained the injury in the Dec. 14 Timberwolves’ win against the New Orleans Hornets. It was originally announced Howard only hyperextended his knee.
