Time to Change Magic’s Starting Lineup?
With his Orlando Magic struggling during the first quarters of games, coach Jacque Vaughn indicated Thursday that he intends to field his usual starting lineup of Jameer Nelson, Arron Afflalo, Maurice Harkless, Glen Davis and Nik Vucevic tonight against the Golden State Warriors.
“I don’t see why I wouldn’t,” Vaughn said.
The Magic have trailed at the end of the opening period in 10 of their last 11 games.
Some fans and media have suggested that Vaughn bench Harkless, start J.J. Redickat shooting guard and shift Afflalo to small forward in order to snap the team out of its first-quarter doldrums.
