Tony Parker Patterned Game After Steve Nash

There is a growing younger generation of point guards in high school, college and the even the NBA who are patterning their game after San Antonio Spurs All-Star point guard Tony Parker.

But when the question was flipped asking Parker who he tried to pattern his game after, he too idolized a player he played against along with other legends.

Parker dropped two Hall of Fame names — Isiah Thomas, Magic Johnson — and one of more recent vintage, Steve Nash.

“What I like the most about Steve Nash is he’s consistent,” Parker said. “He doesn’t take bad shots.”
