Roy Williams plans to coach another decade

North Carolina coach Roy Williams doesn’t see himself changing his address anytime soon.

Despite a health care that included kidney surgery, Williams wants to hang out in Chapel Hill for the time being.

“If I stay healthy, I’d like to coach for another six to 10 years,” Williams told the Greater Wilmington Business Journal. “I don’t want to garden. I don’t want to go to work. (As UNC basketball coach) every day I get to do what I want to do.”

The 62-year-old Williams has won 675 games coaching at Kansas and North Carolina. He has had two national title teams at UNC.
