The injury news is getting more grim by the game for the Cavaliers.

Center Anderson Varejao, who received serious All-Star Game consideration, has fractured his right wrist, the team revealed Saturday. The injury likely will sideline him for weeks as the Cavaliers try to stay relevant in the Eastern Conference playoff chase.

Varejao is the club’s second-most valuable player behind rookie point guard Kyrie Irving, who will miss his third consecutive game with a concussion tonight.
