Varejao’s Return Delayed Two Weeks
It now looks like Cavaliers center Anderson Varejao is going to end up missing about eight weeks with a fractured right wrist.
The Cavs announced Friday, which marked exactly six weeks since Varejao suffered the injury in a Feb. 10 game against Milwaukee, that the 6-foot-10, 260-pound Brazilian has begun “the rehabilitation phase of his recovery process” and is working toward “a return to basketball activities over the next two weeks.”
The Cavs, who originally said Varejao would be out four to six weeks, are now aiming for their center to return to practice in the first or second week of April.
