VCU coach delivers pizza to camping students

Shaka Smart’s No. 25 Virginia Commonwealth wreaked its signature “havoc” defense on Butler on Saturday, crushing the No. 21 Bulldogs 84-52 to wiggle closer to Saint Louis in the Atlantic 10 Conference race.

The much-anticipated Butler vs. VCU matchup wasn’t what it was hyped up to be, but it left plenty of VCU students camping outside the Siegel Center the night before.

Being the nice guy that he is, Smart brought the fans Papa John’s pizza.

Students nicknamed their campsite “Shakaville” to honor the beloved coach.
