Indiana has decided to no longer play Kentucky in men’s basketball, ending a rivalry that began in 1969.

The Indiana-Kentucky series is ending over a disagreement about where to play the games, Hoosiers athletic director Fred Glass said.

The national champion Wildcats wanted the games played at off-campus sites in Louisville and Indianapolis, as they were from 1991-2005. Indiana preferred to keep the games on the respective campuses, where they’ve been played since 2006.

Glass told ESPN.com that Indiana would reconsider if the games stay on campus.
