Tracy McGrady’s Chinese basketball debut is off to a rocky start.

He only played 98 seconds of the Qingdao Eagles final exhibition game three weeks ago.

McGrady and the Eagles are 0-8.

People are throwing things at him.

There is only so much a former NBA superstar can take. The Beijing Ducks’ Ji Zhe discovered exactly where that tipping point lies.

McGrady and the Eagles were down by 19 to Ducks in a recent matchup when Zhe sank a three-pointer over McGrady.

Zhe furthered the humiliation with a finger wag at McGrady, a la Dikembe Mutombo.

McGrady replies with a swift elbow to Zhe’s sternum, accentuated by the incredulous cries of the Chinese broadcasting team calling the game.

A sauntering McGrady seems relatively pleased with the outcome and why not? Throwing ‘bows in China seems like the perfect end to the career of a seven-time NBA All-Star and 2003-04 scoring champion.
