Vogel: Wade, James ‘too much for us’
Turns out, a team of superstars does beat a balanced team. At least it does when it’s the Miami Heat, who have championship aspirations, and the Indiana Pacers, who are time and maybe a player or two away from reaching that point.
Dwyane Wade: 41 points. LeBron James: 28 points.
And a generally wonderful season, one that exceeded most rational expectations, ended with a resounding thud.
“When Wade and James are going like they were tonight and in this series, they’re going to be tough to beat by anybody,” Pacers coach Frank Vogel said. “They were just spectacular in this series, and they were too much for us.”
