He averaged 25.3 points (third in the conference) on .606 shooting (fourth in the conference), and paired that with 5.0 assists, 4.3 rebounds and a league-leading 3.5 steals. Wade recorded a game-high 32 points, a season-high 10 assists and seven rebounds on March 4 during a 97-81 win over the Minnesota Timberwolves.

He posted back-to-back games of 40-plus points and 10-plus assists on March 6 in a win over the New Orleans Hornets and March 8 in a win over the Toronto Raptors. Winners of eight-of-their-last-10, the Lakers (33-31, .516) have moved one-half game ahead of the Utah Jazz for the eighth spot in the Western Conference Playoff race.
