Wake Forest guard J.T. Terrell withdrew from the school in the wake of an arrest for driving while impaired.

Terrell averaged 11.1 points as a freshman for the Demon Deacons last season.

His arrest occurred early Saturday morning, according to his attorney, who said in a statement that Terrell “suffers from a serious medical condition which requires immediate attention.”

Terrell appeared in 32 games last season and connected on 50 3-pointers, second on the team.
