Wake Forest stuns Miami for first ACC loss

An Atlantic Coast Conference loss seemed inevitable.
Of all the North Carolina schools, Wake Forest did what Duke, UNC and N.C. State couldn’t in dealing No. 2 Miami its first ACC loss on Saturday with a stunning 80-65 victory.
The Hurricanes had their 14-game winning streak snapped and suffered a loss for the first time since Christmas Day.
C.J. Harris scored 23 points to pace Wake Forest with a perfect 5-for-5 three-point shooting performance, while Codi Miler-McIntyre added 15 points.
The Demon Deacons (12-14, 5-9) shot 54 percent and led by double figures for the entire second half to pull of the biggest victory under third-year coach Jeff Bzdelik.
