Wake Forest suspended senior center Ty Walker for the remainder of the season.

Walker was disciplined for violating an unspecified athletic department policy, according to Demon Deacons coach Jeff Bzdelik.

The 7-foot Walker appeared in 20 games this season, averaging 4.2 points, 4.6 rebounds and 2.6 blocked shots.

He sat out the first nine games of the season for violating the school’s student code of conduct.
