Warriors G Curry aggravates sprained ankle
Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry aggravated a right ankle sprain in Monday’s win over the Chicago Bulls.
Curry, who underwent surgery on the same foot in the offseason, was hurt in the fourth quarter when he stepped on an opposing player’s foot. He did not return.
He had a sensational game against Chicago, scoring 21 points to go with seven rebounds and 10 assists.
Curry had sprained the ankle in an exhibition game against Sacramento last week but played in Sunday’s season opener against the Los Angeles Clippers.
The third-year guard was plagued by recurring ankle sprains last season, although he missed only eight games.
