Warriors Need Bogut to Contend out West

Basketball News & NBA Rumors

The Warriors are much better this year, but they’re not anywhere near the Grizzlies, who have two mobile, effective big men in Zach Randolph and Marc Gasol, and the Warriors can’t match up with that.

Obviously, when and if Andrew Bogut comes back–presuming he can play hard and effectively once he comes back–that would answer a lot of the challenges Memphis offers…

And which the Warriors’ current front line of Festus Ezeli, David Lee, Carl Landry & Co. have not been able to beat back.

But Bogut isn’t back and nobody knows when that’ll be, so for now, the Warriors aren’t as good as the big teams because they don’t have what it takes in the post. They always have to fake it, and faking it doesn’t win these kinds of games, most of the time.
