Curry expected to sit out again Saturday
Golden State Warriors point guard Stephen Curry is expected to miss his fifth straight game Saturday night against the Charlotte Bobcats.
Curry told the Charlotte Observer he is unlikely to play due to his chronically sprained right ankle.
The third-year sharpshooter has already sprained the ankle three times this season and has been limited to just five games.
He underwent surgery on the ankle in the offseason after suffering repeated sprains last season. Curry was examined earlier this week and the team said he does not have any structural damage.
Curry is averaging 15.2 points and 5.6 assists.
