Southern Miss player’s great pump fake

Southern Mississippi forward Dwayne Davis pulled off perhaps the greatest pump fake ever Saturday. Davis’ move was so good that Memphis’ D.J. Stephens literally jumped straight over him. Not past him, not under him, but OVER him.
Davis’ fake wasn’t even the best part of the play. The announcer doesn’t even acknowledge Stephens flying over Davis and explains the crowd’s reaction as the result of a possible traveling violation. Because nothing inspires “oohs” and “ahs” like a no-call on a travel. Just ask LeBron James.
Where is Gus Johnson when you need him?
Unfortunately for Southern Miss, Davis’ move was the only highlight from a 89-73 loss.
