Russell Westbrook scored 27 points and Kevin Durant added 26 points and 10 rebounds as the host Oklahoma City Thunder led wire-to-wire and crushed the Chicago Bulls 92-78 for their sixth consecutive victory. Chicago, which was playing without reigning MVP Derrick Rose, was no match for the Thunder and had its seven-game road winning streak snapped. Westbrook and Durant combined to outscore the Bulls through three quarters as Oklahoma City built an 80-51 lead en route to its league-high 23rd home victory. Serge Ibaka took care of the defensive end with five blocked shots to go with nine points and six rebounds to send Chicago to only its second loss in nine games. Kyle Korver was the only starter in double figures with 14 points for the Bulls, who remain a league-best 21-7 away from home. Oklahoma City gave an indication of what was to come by scoring the final six points of the second quarter to take a 49-39 lead into half. The third quarter was an early knockout for the Thunder, as Durant and Westbrook combined for 16 points in a 20-5 run that extended the advantage to a staggering 69-44 with six minutes left.
