Who Has Signed Abroad…
The lockout continues to drag on with little to no end in sight before games begin being missed. One of the National Basketball Players Association’s (NBPA) answer to missed games and paychecks is for the players to find other means of income. Mainly, playing overseas.
The NBPA has endorsed the idea of its members playing overseas, and it has been rumored they hope lucrative contracts for the players will provide leverage over the owners in the current Collective Bargaining Talks.
While it’s yet to be determined if players heading abroad will have any impact on negotiations, one thing is for certain. With each passing day, more and more NBA players are signing deals overseas. Here is a list of NBA players heading abroad and where they are headed.
