Will Bynum: ‘My future’s here in Detroit’
The veteran point guard is in the last year of his $3.25 million contract. Unlike (Jason) Maxiell, (Will) Bynum said the prospect of change never crosses his mind.
He still plays like a man bartering for his future, with his second consecutive 15-point game Tuesday, to go with four rebounds and six assists.
“Deadline for what?” Bynum said when asked about the trade deadline. “My future’s here, man. My future’s here in Detroit. You ain’t been watching? I ain’t been thinking about it. Nothing to think about. Nothing to think about.”
