Will Glen Davis Return by Training Camp?
Glen Davis is trying to remain patient.
A dislocated left shoulder and a fractured bone in his left foot limited him to 34 games last season, and now, he’s recovering from a surgery designed to promote healing in that bone.
“After all those types of injuries and me not being able to play basketball for a while, that means something good is about to happen,” Davis said.
“We have every bit of confidence that he’ll come back 100 percent healthy,” Magic general manager Rob Hennigan said.
It’s unclear if Davis will be ready to participate when the Magic begin training camp on Oct. 1, but it seems that he and the team will take extensive measures to make sure he doesn’t place too much stress on his foot too soon.
