Deron Undergoes Another Round of Shots
It wasn’t a fair fight this time. Deron Williams sat through a third round of cortisone shots to his ankles this week, two injections this time. He has about four or five of these treatments left in his career, by most medical standards, before doctors tell him to stop.
He limped to a seat at the Nets’ practice facility on Friday morning, said his left ankle still ached more than his right one and that he will probably get yet another round of shots before the playoffs.
