Wisconsin will have to shuffle its lineup for the start of the season — at least a little bit — after the school announced Wednesday that senior forward Mike Bruesewitz will be out for four to six weeks due to a leg injury.

According to the school, he sustained a laceration to his lower right leg during Tuesday’s practice and underwent surgery that night. He has since been released from the hospital and has begun rehabilitation.

Bruesewitz, a 6-6 forward from St. Paul, Minn., averaged 5.6 points and 5.1 rebounds last season.

He’s perhaps best known nationally for his red hair and the Afro he rocked two seasons ago. At the end of the 2010-11 season, he shaved his head to raise money for charity.
