Wolves Lose Another Player in Monday’s Win

The Wolves continue to lose players to injury — Monday’s game was the fourth consecutive in which somebody was hurt and did not return — and…

They just keep winning.

They did it despite losing Nikola Pekovic to a sprained ankle late in the third quarter.

Pekovic stepped on Vince Carter’s foot as the two ran down the court side by side.

Big Pek said he didn’t consider the sprained ankle serious because he didn’t break anything — just lots of pain when it happened — but wants to wait to see how the ankle is on Tuesday before he makes any predictions about whether he can play Wednesday against Charlotte or about any return.

That’s six men down now, and counting…
