Mike Woodson admitted after Saturday’s practice the extended time he’s playing (Jason) Kidd has been hurting the point guard.
“We’re playing Kidd minutes, man, because we are a little short-handed,” he said. “He’ll never complain, I know that, because he’s a pro and he’s been doing this a long time. But from a coaching standpoint, I know it’s not healthy and not good for him to play him all those minutes, but I don’t have a choice at this point right now.”

For those saying the Nets can't do a sign-and-trade for Howard, they can as long as they're under apron amount after transaction's complete. The Atlanta Hawks will also pursue Dwight Howard. Their dream scenario is to sign Howard and Chris Paul. They can offer two max contracts. Nets can sign-and-trade for Howard if their under the apron amount after transaction is complete. That means they must dump salary in deal.
